Can you help arrange my travel visas?
Requirements for travel visas vary widely depending on your nationality and your destination. Although we are unable to arrange visas on your behalf we have provided links on our “Resources” page to websites that will help you determine if visas are required. If you do require a visa you can arrange them yourself or use the services of a travel agent or visa processing company.

Can I join a tour late or leave it early?
It's extremely difficult if not impossible to join a tour after it has begun. It is possible to leave a tour early however you will be responsible for your own arrangements from the moment you decide to leave the tour. You would also be responsible for all costs associated with joining a tour late or leaving one early. If you feel this may be necessary please consult a G Adventures Specialist before you book your adventure.
Tour Program
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival at New Delhi International Airport, WTX representative welcomes you in Indian Traditional Style. Board your exclusive vehicle & proceed towards hotel. Check-in & relax for rest of the day. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: At Delhi
Morning after breakfast – proceed for full day sightseeing of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Commence your tour with a guided tour to Qutab Minar - One of the great monuments in India and one of the first and finest examples of the Islamic architecture in South Asia, it’s become identified with Delhi. Build in the 12th century by Qutb-ud-din Aibak as a victory tower, this is the tallest stone tower of India with the height of 72.5meters. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb - The tomb of the father of Akbar the Great, may, is supposed to be first Indo - Islamic buildings of India. This beautiful structure is also known as the inspiration for the Taj Mahal. After your sight seeing of old and New Delhi you get some time to take rest in hotel. Afternoon drive pass through Red Fort - one of the most magnificent structures of Delhi, made in red sand stone, the Red Fort, is one of the architectural marvels built by the great Mughal Emperor and architect, Shah Jahan. Enjoy Cycle Rickshaw Tour of Chandni Chowk Market - the antiquity of the main market area of Chandni Chowk has rendered it a venerated place in the markets of Delhi, and the crowds are testament to the fact that it’s one of the world’s oldest flourishing markets. Enjoy a Street Food Walk in Old Delhi and enjoy the authentic street food of Old Delhi. Authentic Old Delhi street food is best enjoyed in its original setting, in the noisy labyrinthine by-lanes of Chawri Bazaar and Chandni Chowk, where golden Gurudwaras share space with historic mosques. The dishes one can savor in Old Delhi Food Walk are large, thick and juicy jalebis, glistening with ghee; Aloo chaat crisp fried potato cutlets dunked in a melange of chutneys and smattered with onions and spices ; varieties of stuffed paranthas potato, onion, cottage cheese, cauliflower, radish, dry fruits and even khoya. In non-vegetarian, one can taste tender and flavorful Kebabs, fried Chicken and Butter Chicken, all of which are best tasted when taken with Roomali Roti and Biryani. For Desserts, try out the creamy, delicious phirni which is served in earthen pots and end your walk with a Kulfi which is offered in blackberry, pomegranate, mango, litchee, and guava flavors. Drive pass-through India Gate, Parliament and President House - formerly known as 'Viceroy's House' and was occupied by the Governor-General of India, until independence. Stop for photo opportunities. Designed by the British Architect- , Sir Edwin Lutyens, this classical building uses colors and details peculiar to Indo-British architecture termed the ‘Delhi Order’. Overnight stay at Hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi/ Agra (210km 4hr 30min)
Morning after breakfast in hotel proceed to Agra. The majestic first capital of the Mughals (Delhi was the second) has placed itself in the world map as one of the most sought after Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon you will proceed for sightseeing: Agra Fort - Majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and is undoubtedly India’s finest fort built in the 16th century. Evening you will enjoy Marble Inlay work Demonstration by Craftsmen in Agra. There are around 3,000-4,000 marble carvers or inlay craftsmen in Agra. They are karigars, or skilled labourers, who continue to live around the Taj Mahal and do precious inlay work on the art facts, statues, tables, stools, boxes, trays, patters and other decorative items to be sold to tourists. The most popular takeaway gift, of course, is the model of the Taj Mahal itself. Evening transfer to Hotel. Later visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world, are surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build the memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. In the evening enjoy delicious Dinner serving with hot fried Kababs at a famous restaurant in Agra. You can also visit their live Kitchen preparing the Kebabs specially for you. After wards transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Agra.
Day 04: Agra/ Fatehpur Sikri/ Suroth Mahal (140 kms /3hrs)
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive towards Suroth Mahal. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty –Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwan-e-Khas entirely unique in its concept is a tall vaulted room with an intricately carved central pillar and capital supporting a platform that once held the emperor's throne. The airy Panch Mahal a 5 storied structure rising in pyramidal fashion was probably used by the ladies of the court. Set like a jewel in a courtyard of pink sandstone is the finest building here, the marble Tomb of Salim Chisti enclosed by finely carved, lacy marble screens. The Buland Darwaza, an imposing gateway 54 m high was built to commemorate Akbar's Aligarh the famous university town is a center of Islamic studies. Akbar built in 1492; The Tomb is combination of Muslims and Hindu Architectural styles. On arrival at Suroth Mahal checkin at the Fort. Overnight stay at Suroth Mahal. Suroth, a remote ancient town, a devotional city, a blend of warm royal hospitality, a serene rural environment. Suroth Mahal was built 200 years ago. Soroth mahal make you visit a rich experience in Indian Royal Gastronomy.
Day 05: In Suroth Mahal
Early morning before breakfast experience Yoga session with a professional instructor arranged the Palace Terries, from where you can also view the sunrise. After breakfast you can tour around the campus to see the paintings, stone carvings etc. After lunch visit the 500 years old village by open Jeep, where one can see local handicraft shops like lacker work, bangle making, wooden toys, bamboo items, traditional sweets etc being made. Then go to see stone works famous all over the world specially in Pakistan and other neighbouring countries. Before returning to the hotel guest can also visit local market (Haat Bazar) , some of ancient temples and organic farming on the way. Evening enjoy Cultural programmes & Music. Later Enjoy Indian Wrestling. Later Enjoy Cooking Demonstration followed by Dinner. Overnight stay at Suroth Mahal.
Day 06: Suroth Mahal – Ranthambhore (140 kms /3hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive towards Ranthambhore & checkin at the Wild life resort. Afternoon proceed for Jungle safari by Canter at Ranthambore National Park. Since becoming one of the original areas under Project, the park has recovered much of its natural beauty & dry deciduous forest has been restored. Jungle Safari is an exciting option here with high chances of spotting the big cat as well as photographing it. Excursions around the park give valuable insights into the various flora & fauna. In the evening enjoy Delicious Rajasthani Dinner with authentic "LAL MAS" (Red Meat delicacies) also including "Kababs", you can also visit their live Kitchen to watch how your delicacies are being prepared. Overnight stay at resort in Ranthambhore. Overnights stay at Wildlife resort in Ranthambhore.
Day 07: Ranthambore/ Jaipur (165km 4hrs)
Early morning before breakfast proceed for second round of Jungle Safari. Early morning Jungle Safari is an exciting option and has better chances to sight various animals including Tiger & Leopard. Return to Resort to enjoy breakfast. After breakfast checkout from resort & drive towards Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and one corner of India's "Golden Triangle of Tourism”. It is also known as "Pink City" with beautifully constructed palaces, havelis and forts. It has the most beautiful palace in India and the largest stone observatory in the world. A marvel in town planning, it is harmonious blend of cultures, religion, historical monuments and vibrant markets offering possibly the best shopping in India. Evening enjoy Dinner & cooking demonstration of Rajasthani cuisine by local family. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 08: In Jaipur
Morning after breakfast proceed for full day sight seeing of Jaipur. You com- commence your tour with Amer Fort - a fascinating blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture, this fort was built by Raja Man Singh on the hill side in the late 16th century. While the exterior of the fort are rugged, equally bewitching are the interiors where the fusions of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles find ultimate refinement. Enjoy Jeep ride to reach the fort. Later enjoy Photography in front of Jal Mahal Palace, noted for its intricate architecture. The Palace was developed as a pleasure spot, and used for the royal duck shoot- ing parties. Drive pass through Hawa Mahal (The Wind Palace), the most photographed landmark of the city. This honey-combed building was originally built to facilitate the women of the royal families to watch the everyday life and the processions held in the pink city, without being seen by the people down- stairs. The City Palace and Museum houses an excellent collection of Rajasthani costumes and armory of Mughals and Rajputs, including swords of different shapes and sizes, some with precious stones handles in gold. An art gallery here offers excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit. Later Enjoy Turban tying, Saree tying experiences in Jaipur. Also enjoy Astrology session with astrologer/Palmist.
Day 09: Jaipur/ Delhi (265km 5hrs 30min)
Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi, Upon arrival checkin at the hotel. Today you will have an opportunity to explore markets of Delhi. Shopping is always on top of the itinerary chart for any tourist visiting Delhi. There are whole shebang of items of tourist choice, such as jewelry, carpets, handicrafts, precious stones, silks and silver ware - all synonymous with India. Overnight stay at hotel in New Delhi.
Day 10: Departure from Delhi
Morning after breakfast transfer to New Delhi International Airport to board on flight for onward destination. Tour Concludes with Happy Memories of India
